He had made similar remarks after a recent Cabinet meeting and had even advised ministers to take precautions against the heat.

The moment the Prime Minister chose to discuss heat waves in Mann Ki Baat, some critics questioned the relevance of such a message. Why would the Prime Minister of a country spend valuable airtime advising people to drink water and avoid heat exposure? What larger purpose does such a message serve?

To answer that question, it is important to look at Mann Ki Baat not as a conventional political speech, but as a long-term communication platform. An analysis of the programme over the last year reveals a consistent pattern and a broader agenda.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appears to use Mann Ki Baat as a tool to shape India's social and national priorities. Rather than announcing government schemes or engaging in political debates, the programme focuses on citizen responsibility, social participation, cultural pride, innovation, and nation-building.

Viewed in this context, the discussion on extreme heat was not merely a weather advisory. The underlying message was that challenges facing the nation cannot be addressed by the government alone. Citizens must also play an active role in responding to issues that affect society. This thinking is closely linked to Modi's recurring theme of “Jan Bhagidari” or people's participation.

Almost every episode of Mann Ki Baat highlights stories of ordinary Indians achieving extraordinary results. Whether it is a village conserving water, a young innovator solving a local problem, a woman leading social change, or an athlete bringing glory to the nation, these stories reinforce one central idea: every citizen has a role in nation-building.

An analysis of the programme over the last twelve months reveals five major messages.

1. Viksit Bharat

The first and most prominent theme is the vision of a developed India. Modi repeatedly conveys that India is progressing not only economically but also socially and culturally towards becoming a leading nation in the world.

2. Jan Bhagidari

The second theme is citizen participation. Development cannot be achieved by government efforts alone. It requires the active involvement of every Indian. Even the recent warning about heat waves reflects this belief that public awareness and collective action are essential.

3. Cultural Confidence

A third recurring theme is cultural self-confidence. Mann Ki Baat frequently discusses India's traditions, festivals, local languages, heritage, and indigenous knowledge. The programme seeks to promote modernization without disconnecting from cultural roots.

4. Youth and Innovation

The fourth theme is the role of youth in shaping India's future. Startups, young scientists, athletes, entrepreneurs, and innovators regularly feature in the programme. The message is clear: India's future growth will be driven by creativity, innovation, and youthful energy.

5. National Pride

The fifth and perhaps broadest theme is national pride. The programme consistently encourages Indians to have confidence in their country's achievements, capabilities, culture, and global standing.

From a political communication perspective, Mann Ki Baat functions less as a platform for government announcements and more as a mechanism to influence public attitudes, behaviour, and priorities. Direct political attacks and electoral rhetoric are largely absent. Instead, the programme relies on inspirational stories, social campaigns, and positive examples to create a shared national vision.

That is why the topics discussed in Mann Ki Baat change every month, while the underlying message remains remarkably consistent.

In Gujarat, in the spheres of service and cultural heritage, Anarben Patel is an inspiring name. The daughter of former Chief Minister and current Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, Anarben Patel is not merely an entrepreneur but a living example of the harmonious confluence of devotion, service and dedication. Her personality is unpretentious, naturally transparent and dedicated to service, serving as an inspiration for numerous women, artisans and especially the youth.

For Anarben, her mother Anandiben Patel is her ideal. Inspired by her mother’s spirit of service, karma yoga and dedication to society, Anarben embarked on the path of service from a young age. In 1995 she established the Gramshri Trust, which has become a means of providing economic self-reliance and dignity to women living in challenging conditions in remote areas. Under her mother’s guidance, Anarben has never chased fame or position, and her life has remained a symbol of service and dedication to this day.

Anarben’s personality is entirely unpretentious. She attaches great importance to yoga and meditation in life. While fulfilling the responsibilities of motherhood at home, managing service activities and listening to the stories of the suffering and afflicted sections of society, she always maintains balance. The simple statement that she makes her best efforts is a symbol of her humility. On no occasion does she amplify her own words, but instead advances the work of service. This unpretentious approach gives her a unique place in society.

In the Shri Khodal Dham Trust, Anarben’s devotion and spirit of service for the Patidar community remain central. In January 2026 she was entrusted with the responsibility of president of the Khodal Dham Organisation. Prior to this she was actively involved as a trustee and in the leadership of the women’s wing. In Shri Khodal Dham, the spiritual centre of the Leuva Patidar community, she is integrating devotion with service and social reform. She continuously strives to teach the youth of the community lessons in history, values, culture and unity. Her active involvement in the development of the Patidar community, women’s empowerment and social organisation is a major inspiration for the sisters and daughters of Gujarat.

Anarben’s service-oriented works are numerous and touch the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. In 1995, through Gramshri, she provided skills such as sewing, fabric work and embroidery to women in the slum areas of Ahmedabad, opening the path to economic self-reliance. Today Gramshri directly benefits more than 2,000 women. After the 2001 Kutch earthquake she undertook the reconstruction of villages such as Ludiya and Gandhinu Gam and provided employment to artisans. Through an organisation like Manav Sadhana she has also made a significant contribution to providing education and values to more than 10,000 slum children. In all these works her aim is not merely to provide assistance but to make society self-reliant and prosperous.

Anarben’s dedication to the arts is extraordinary. Craftroots is the living embodiment of this vision. Under Gramshri, Craftroots has connected more than 35,000 artisans in the last two decades and revived over 75 traditional handicrafts. By reviving dying arts such as mashru weaving and organising exhibitions in major cities of Gujarat as well as from Dubai to Mumbai, they have provided global recognition and markets to the artisans. By providing training, design workshops and economic support to women artisans, Craftroots has created an environment of respect for them in society. Anarben believes that providing employment to every artisan with honour is true service. With this dedication she is carrying forward Indian handicrafts to the next generation.

Anarben’s respect for Prime Minister Narendra Modi is consistently evident in her words and actions.

She always describes Prime Minister Modi as a karma yogi and a compassionate personality with great reverence. In her works the spirit of Nation First is clearly visible. Through Gramshri and Craftroots she is giving practical shape to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of women’s empowerment along with Atmanirbhar Bharat and the preservation of cultural heritage. Thus in her works the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas constantly resonates.

Anarben Patel is a simple, dedicated and inspiring personality whose life conveys the message that service is true devotion. Her works demonstrate how work done with a humble heart can transform society. For today’s youth, Anarben can be called an ideal who, by adopting her mother’s ideals, dedicating herself to society and making art an integral part of life, has created a new bridge of service.

While modern agriculture has helped increase food production, it has also raised concerns about its long-term impact on human health. Given India's large population, it may not be practical for every farmer to completely stop using chemical fertilizers. However, small and meaningful efforts can certainly help reduce this problem. One such inspiring example has emerged from Surat.

This is the story of Kalpesh Patel, a farmer from Saras village in Olpad taluka of Surat district. After losing his father to cancer, he transformed his personal tragedy into a source of inspiration for society. Following his father's death, Kalpesh completely abandoned chemical farming and adopted natural farming practices. Today, he is recognized as one of Gujarat's successful natural farmers.

Kalpesh's father, Ramanbhai Patel, had spent years using chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the fields. According to Kalpesh, his father's body often carried the smell of pesticides. When Ramanbhai was diagnosed with cancer, Kalpesh began to realize the possible health risks associated with prolonged exposure to agricultural chemicals. After his father's passing, he made a firm decision never to use toxic chemicals in farming again.

In 2019, Kalpesh started experimenting with natural farming on his land. Alongside his job as a chemical operator in a private company in Surat, he attended training programs organized by the Gujarat Agriculture Department and learned natural farming techniques such as Jeevamrut.

Today, he cultivates more than 50 varieties of bananas on about three and a half bighas of land. These include Poovan, Rasthali, Basrai, Red Banana, Elaichi Banana, and the internationally popular Blue Java variety. The banana bunches produced on his farm typically weigh over 30 kilograms. In 2025, his farm attracted nationwide attention when one banana bunch weighed an impressive 73 kilograms.

According to Kalpesh Patel, after adopting natural farming, he saves between ₹15,000 and ₹20,000 per bigha every year. As soil quality has improved, productivity has also increased significantly. Today, he earns approximately ₹10 to ₹12 lakh annually from his three-and-a-half bighas of farmland.

To further increase income and reduce waste, he processes unsold bananas into value-added products such as banana wafers, banana powder, and dried banana figs.

Kalpesh Patel's journey is an inspiration for society. He has demonstrated that successful farming does not depend solely on chemical fertilizers. With determination, knowledge, and sustainable practices, farmers can achieve both economic success and environmental responsibility.

Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, recently announced that international prices for crude oil and gas have skyrocketed. Oil companies are buying raw materials at high costs, but to protect the general public from the shock of inflation, the government continues to sell petrol, diesel, and other fuels at old rates. Consequently, government oil companies are losing ₹1,000 crore every day. The total loss for this quarter is estimated to reach ₹1,00,000 crore. These figures are not just financial; they are linked to the country’s energy security and economic stability.

In this moment of crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an important appeal to the citizens. He stated, "For the progress and self-reliance of our country, we all must work together. Energy conservation is not just an individual responsibility, but a national duty." PM Modi’s appeal is in the national interest. He called upon the public to save fuel at personal and collective levels to reduce the burden of oil imports. India imports more than 85% of its crude oil. In such a situation, rising global prices put pressure on foreign exchange reserves. The PM said, "If we save a little, the country can save a lot."

PM Modi’s appeal includes practical suggestions. He requested citizens to turn off vehicle engines at traffic signals, use public transport more often, adopt energy-efficient appliances at home, and expand the use of solar energy. This appeal does not rely on government efforts alone but invites the cooperation of every citizen. Meanwhile, the government has taken various steps to protect oil companies from losses, such as subsidy systems and tax reliefs, but all of this is incomplete without public cooperation.

The importance of this appeal must be understood in the broader context of national interest. Rising oil prices affect not only oil companies but the entire economy, impacting sectors like transport, industry, and agriculture. PM Modi has repeatedly said that self-reliance in the energy sector is necessary to realize the dream of a "Self-Reliant India." For this, along with the development of renewable energy, the efficient use of current resources is essential. With public cooperation, oil imports will decrease, foreign exchange will be saved, and the financial health of oil companies will improve.

There is also an opportunity to turn this crisis into an opening. PM Modi’s appeal specifically calls upon the youth to develop new models of energy conservation through technology and innovation. By expanding biogas and solar plants in rural areas, local self-reliance can be increased. The government is also working in this direction through the Green Hydrogen Mission, promoting electric vehicles, and increasing investment for the modernization of oil companies.

PM Modi’s appeal is a call for collective awareness. While the country faces global uncertainty, every citizen's small contribution can yield big results. Stopping the losses of oil companies is not just an economic issue but a matter of national self-respect and security. We must all accept this appeal and prioritize national interest. If we save a little today, the country will become stronger tomorrow. This is the true form of "Subka Saath, Subka Vikas" (Together with all, Development for all).

During his college days, he became actively involved in social work and politics and later served as the General Secretary (GS) of P.D. Malaviya College. He was elected as an MLA from the Jetpur Assembly constituency for the first time and was re-elected in 1995. He then served as Minister of State for Roads & Buildings and Panchayat in the governments led by Keshubhai Patel and Suresh Mehta. After being elected for a third term, he carried out remarkable work as a Cabinet Minister in the Roads and Buildings Department.

Savjibhai Korat was known for his fearless, hardworking, and service-oriented personality. Coming from an agricultural background, he understood the problems of ordinary people very well and worked tirelessly to solve them. During his tenure, he often conducted surprise inspections at government offices, circuit houses, and construction sites to take strict action against corruption. His anti-corruption initiatives became widely discussed across Gujarat.

He strongly believed that “work is greater than status” and remained deeply committed to development activities. His contribution in strengthening roads, bridges, and the administration of village panchayats was considered invaluable. Because of his dedication to public service, people of Jetpur and Saurashtra fondly called him “Chhote Sardar.”

Savjibhai gave great importance to public interaction. He regularly visited villages, met people directly, listened to their problems, and worked towards solutions. His active leadership and commitment inspired many young people.

On November 26, 1998, Savjibhai Korat passed away at the young age of 45, sending a wave of grief across Saurashtra. Today, hospitals, bridges, and roads have been named after him in Gujarat. Narendra Modi had also unveiled his statue. Even today, the Shri Savjibhai Korat Trust continues to organize health camps, educational initiatives, and social service activities.

Now, people see the same enthusiasm and dedication in his son, Prashant Korat. Currently serving as the General Secretary of Gujarat BJP, Dr. Prashant Korat is also known for his service-oriented personality. He actively works in health camps, public outreach programs, and organizational activities conducted by the trust.

Like his father, he is considered fearless and hardworking. He continuously strives to understand people’s issues and work toward solutions. His style of functioning also reflects Savjibhai Korat’s anti-corruption and development-focused approach.

Savjibhai Korat’s life stands as a message that true politics lies in genuine public service. Young leaders like Prashant Korat, who are inspired by their father’s ideals and dedicate themselves to serving society, are seen as a proud example of Gujarat’s identity and values.

At a time when Gujarat has received young leadership in figures like Harsh Sanghavi, BJP’s organization has also gained an energetic leader in Prashant Korat, whose active working style continues to inspire the youth of Gujarat.

This may sound surprising, but sleep and dental health are closely connected.

Many people experience worn-out or broken teeth even though they take proper care of them and brush regularly. The reason behind this could be poor sleep. People who do not sleep well are more likely to grind their teeth.

In medical terms, this condition is called Bruxism. It means grinding or clenching teeth during sleep. When we sleep, our body rests but the brain remains active. Sometimes, the brain briefly wakes up—this is known as “micro-arousals.” During these moments, the jaw muscles become active, leading to a condition called sleep bruxism.

As a result, people may grind their teeth, feel tension in the jaw, and experience disturbed sleep. In the morning, symptoms may include jaw pain, sensitive teeth, headaches, and tiredness even after a full night’s sleep. These are not just sleep issues—they can also indicate dental and jaw problems.

In many cases, Obstructive Sleep Apnea can also be responsible. In this condition, breathing temporarily stops during sleep due to low oxygen levels. The body reacts by moving the jaw to open the airway, which increases teeth grinding and further disrupts sleep.

Stress is another common cause. Anxiety, anger, and suppressed emotions can affect jaw muscles. When the mind is not calm, the body often shows its effects at night.

If you are not sleeping well, do not rely only on sleeping pills. It is important to visit a dentist and get your teeth and jaw checked. If bruxism is detected early, both your teeth and sleep quality can improve.

Treatment options may include special devices like sleep appliances or dental guards. These help protect teeth and improve sleep.

Sometimes, the body gives small warning signs—the question is whether we notice them. If you are struggling with sleep, don’t forget to check your teeth.

People often question whether this system of treatment truly works and whether it has any real scientific basis. To understand this, it’s important to look at what scientific studies say.

Several studies conducted around the world have found that the effects of homeopathy, in many cases, are more than just psychological and show physical improvements as well. In some research, these results were statistically significant. Positive outcomes were especially seen in treatments that were tailored to individual patients.

So far, more than 300 clinical trials have been conducted on homeopathy across over 100 different diseases. Many of these studies followed modern scientific methods, such as randomized and double-blind trials, which are considered reliable in medical research.

However, there is a key difference between homeopathy and conventional medicine (allopathy). Allopathy generally treats patients based on the symptoms of a disease, often giving similar medicines to patients with similar conditions. In contrast, homeopathy treats each patient as a unique individual. Medicines are prescribed based on a person’s specific physical and emotional symptoms, meaning two patients with the same illness may receive different treatments.

For example, consider a group of patients with asthma who are similar in age, weight, and symptoms. In allopathy, they would likely receive similar medication because their symptoms are the same. But in homeopathy, each patient would be assessed individually, and different medicines might be given based on subtle differences between them.

In conclusion, both allopathy and homeopathy are different systems with their own strengths and limitations. The debate between them has continued for years and is likely to go on. Ultimately, what matters most is the patient’s outcome. Where homeopathy is effective, it can be used, and where allopathy works better, it should be preferred.

In a country like India, millions of people use homeopathy, suggesting that many find it beneficial. Today, an integrative approach is becoming more common worldwide—using the treatment method that works best for a particular condition.

In the context of escalating tensions resembling a conflict between the United States and Iran, India’s decision not to assume an active mediatory role is both appropriate and pragmatic. This decision aligns with the core principles of India’s foreign policy and diplomacy, which prioritize national economic interests above all. In the current global environment, as India moves toward becoming a developed nation, it is wise to prioritize national interests rather than getting involved in the disputes of other countries.

The foundation of India’s foreign policy lies in ‘strategic autonomy’ and ‘multi-alignment.’ Under this approach, India maintains balanced relations with all major powers without coming under the influence of any single nation. India’s ties with the United States have reached unprecedented levels, especially in trade, technology, and security sectors. According to 2025–26 data, bilateral trade exceeds $190 billion, with significant contributions from IT services, pharmaceuticals, and energy. On the other hand, India also maintains important energy-related ties with Iran. The Chabahar Port project provides India access to Central Asia and Afghanistan, facilitating trade and connectivity. Had India actively mediated in the U.S.-Iran conflict, it could have strained relations with both sides. By remaining neutral, India has safeguarded its economic and trade stability.

When a nation is progressing rapidly, getting entangled in foreign conflicts can be detrimental. Under the current government, India’s economy is moving swiftly toward becoming the world’s third-largest. GDP growth is above 7%, foreign direct investment (FDI) is increasing, and the manufacturing sector is strengthening through initiatives like ‘Make in India.’ In such a scenario, active involvement in geopolitical conflicts could disrupt economic goals. Taking sides could impact oil imports, leading to inflation and industrial losses. Therefore, prioritizing national interest is the right approach. This strategy also helped India remain neutral during the Russia-Ukraine crisis, benefiting from discounted oil imports.

Working towards global peace and humanity is an integral part of India’s national policy. In the long run, this approach will prove beneficial. By upholding the principle of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ India advocated for developing nations at the G20. This policy has earned India global respect and opened new avenues for trade and investment. Actively contributing to global peace while not becoming a party to conflicts is the ideal balanced approach that will strengthen India economically.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s global acceptance plays a key role in this equation. His personal rapport with world leaders has helped India secure a leading position in strategic forums such as QUAD, I2U2, and IMEC. Engagements with the U.S. have enhanced technology transfer and investments, while ties with Middle Eastern nations have created new opportunities in energy and logistics. This diplomacy ensures that India is not dependent on any one bloc but stands as an independent and strong global partner.

It can be clearly stated that India’s neutrality on the U.S.-Iran issue is not a weakness but a reflection of its mature foreign policy. This approach keeps the nation firmly on its path of economic progress, contributes to global peace, and safeguards humanitarian values. As India advances toward its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047, such pragmatic and interest-driven foreign policy will be key to achieving success. This approach will also ensure India’s global respect and economic prosperity.

Today’s youth thirst for inspiration in their lives. They need someone who says “It is only through service that life becomes meaningful.” Dilipbhai Deshmukh is exactly such an inspiring person. His life is an open book for the youth from which there is much to learn and even more to follow.

Dilipbhai’s journey began as an ordinary volunteer. As a pracharak of the RSS he dedicated his entire life. Leaving behind home family and personal comforts he constantly engaged in the service of society. This journey was not an easy path. It involved renunciation struggle and unwavering commitment. But he never looked back. His footsteps inspired many young people and they too advanced on the path of service. Today they provide successful leadership in various fields.

In the devastating earthquake of Kutch in 2001 Dilipbhai’s contribution can never be forgotten. When the earthquake-affected area was filled only with sorrow and darkness he reached the field directly. Helping people transporting the injured to hospitals distributing relief materials and igniting a ray of hope among the people he did all this relentlessly. His work secured a permanent place in the hearts of the people of Kutch. This incident clearly showed that in times of crisis service is the true path.

Dilipbhai also remained a close associate of Prime Minister Narendra bhai Modi. This relationship is not merely personal but one of shared ideology and action. There was a common spirit of service and nation-building between the two.

Dilipbhai’s greatest speciality is guiding the youth onto the path of service. He holds the hands of many youths and provides them guidance in the direction of service. Not merely by giving speeches but by setting an example through his own life. When youths come to him he explains to them that “Service is not some task; it is an integral part of life.”

There was also a difficult time in his life. On 10 July 2020 he underwent a liver transplant at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre (IKDRC) in Ahmedabad. His health improved with the liver received from organ donation and he gained a new life. After this surgery he became a full-time active servant of organ donation awareness. Through the “Angdan Charitable Trust” he spreads awareness across Gujarat and explains to the youth that even after death the organs of the body can give life to others. His experience has taught the youth that even struggle can be transformed into service.

Even today in the year 2026 Dilipbhai’s life remains continuously dedicated to service. There is no pause no expectations only service and service. Today when the youth get lost in mobiles wealth and personal ambitions his life becomes a beacon. He says that “It is only through service that a person truly lives.”

Personalities like Dilipbhai Deshmukh remind us that the true meaning of life lies in service. For the youth he is a fountain of inspiration. Anyone who looks closely at his life will realise that even today in this country there are service-oriented people from whom we can learn a lot. Dilipbhai’s life conveys just one message: serve keep serving and make life meaningful.

Great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel were associated with the party. After the formation of Gujarat in 1960, Congress remained in power almost continuously until 1995. Leaders such as Morarji Desai and K. M. Munshi played key roles in the state government. During this period, Congress contributed significantly to social reforms, agriculture, and industrial development. Ahmedabad also hosted AICC sessions that helped shape national politics.

In 1995, Bharatiya Janata Party came to power, marking the beginning of Congress’s decline. Since 1998, BJP has maintained continuous control. Internal conflicts within Congress, unfulfilled promises on social justice, and its inability to align with narratives like Hindutva and development weakened the party. During Narendra Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister (2001–2014), the “Gujarat Model” strengthened BJP’s position across India. Many Congress leaders and workers switched to BJP.

In the 2017 assembly elections, Congress slightly improved its seat count, but in 2022 it was reduced to just 17 seats, while BJP won 156. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Congress secured only one seat in Banaskantha. The main reasons for this decline include internal divisions, demoralized workers, and loss of public support.

In 2025, an AICC session was held in Ahmedabad after 64 years, seen as an attempt to revive the party. Gujarat Congress president Amit Chavda launched the “Jan Aakrosh Yatra” criticizing BJP’s policies, but the ground reality remains tough. During his Gujarat visit in 2025, Rahul Gandhi said that party workers are divided into two groups—one dedicated to public service and another allegedly aligned with BJP. He stated, “Half of the workers are working for BJP.”

Lack of strong leadership, absence of active central guidance, and weak organizational structure have left workers disheartened. Public support has also shifted away from Congress. Though a few experienced senior leaders remain, they largely rely on their past legacy.

Congress’s biggest challenge is to rebuild leadership and regain public trust. If it can strengthen its organization, energize its workers, and reconnect with the people, it may stage a comeback. Experience remains its key asset, but it needs fresh energy and clear leadership to make it effective.

While Congress is unlikely to perform well in the upcoming local body elections, it may still have a chance to recover if it works hard before the 2027 assembly elections.

BJP workers are known for their unique dedication. They are not just members but act as the backbone of the party. From villages to big cities, millions of workers set aside their personal work, businesses, and even family responsibilities to serve the party. During elections, they work day and night at the booth level, going door-to-door to meet voters, listen to their concerns, and try to solve their problems.

Their dedication goes beyond elections. During crises like COVID-19, earthquakes, floods, and other natural disasters, these workers actively participate in relief work. Distributing aid, helping people, and maintaining public trust are part of their daily efforts. Because of such work, the party’s symbol “lotus” has become more than just a symbol—it represents ideology and trust beyond any individual candidate.

In terms of organization, BJP is one of the largest and most well-structured political parties in the world. Its structure operates at three levels: booth, mandal, and district/state. Each booth has a dedicated team that tracks voter lists, their needs, and feedback. The party has also strengthened its network using modern technology. Platforms like the NaMo App allow direct communication with workers. This strong organization ensures that even if candidates change, the party’s vote base remains stable.

This dedication and organizational strength have led BJP to repeated electoral victories. The results were clearly visible in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, as well as in various state assembly elections. Due to teamwork and a spirit of service, the party’s reach has expanded to almost every household. In states like Gujarat, the organization is so strong that thousands of workers voluntarily participate in even small events.

From a neutral perspective, this success is driven by the training, dedication, and continuous guidance given to workers. The party shapes their understanding of its ideology and encourages them to remain active and honest in their work. This strength is not limited to one party—it also reflects the unity of Indian democracy. The enthusiasm and discipline of BJP workers serve as an inspiration for other political parties.

In conclusion, the dedication and organizational strength of BJP workers make them stand out. Their working style not only brings electoral success but also inspires social service. It is because of the efforts of millions of such dedicated and often unknown workers that the “lotus” symbol has found a place in the hearts of millions. This model of organization and commitment stands as an example for political parties, leaders, and workers across India.

What is a PSA Test and Why is it Important?

PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) is a protein produced by the prostate gland. Its level can be measured through a simple blood test. This test helps in detecting prostate cancer at an early stage, even before symptoms appear.

Early detection is crucial because prostate cancer often shows no signs in its initial stages. Identifying it early significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.

Why Men Over 50 Should Be Careful

Medical studies show that men above the age of 50 are at higher risk of developing prostate cancer. Akshay Kumar emphasized that men in this age group should get a PSA test every year.

If there is a family history of cancer, screening should begin even earlier to reduce risks.

Lack of Awareness is the Biggest Risk

In India, many men tend to ignore their health. Due to hesitation, lack of awareness, or the belief that “nothing will happen,” prostate issues are often diagnosed too late.

Akshay Kumar shared that if he had known about PSA testing earlier, his father might have been saved.

Key Advice from Experts

Men above 50 should get regular PSA tests

Start screening earlier if there is a family history of cancer

Do not ignore urinary symptoms like frequent urination or pain

Early diagnosis leads to better treatment outcomes

When a person begins to live not just for himself but for the entire society, he grows beyond being an individual and becomes an institution. One such inspiring figure is Vallabhbhai Savani, lovingly known as “Bapuji” by the Saurashtra Patidar community.

After achieving success in the diamond and real estate businesses, he used his wealth not just for his family but for the better future of society. This marked the beginning of his remarkable journey of social service.

Vallabhbhai Savani once said that he could not pursue higher education, but instead of treating it as a weakness, he turned it into motivation to help others. At a time when getting admission to good schools in Surat was difficult, he started P.P. Savani School in Varachha in 1987 with just 287 students.

Today, that small beginning has grown into a large educational network. The P.P. Savani Group runs 9 schools and a university established in 2017 with around 14 departments. So far, nearly 1 million students have studied in these institutions, and currently, around 10,000 to 15,000 students are enrolled. These are not just numbers—they represent thousands of families whose futures have been transformed.

Bapuji’s vision goes beyond education. To prepare students for employment, he started a training center in 2003 for competitive exams like GPSC and UPSC. Many students from this center have gone on to become officers such as SPs, collectors, and other government officials.

Understanding that healthcare is as important as education, he also established a hospital, which has served an estimated over 2 million patients. This highlights the scale and impact of his services.

As a fatherly figure, after contributing to education, healthcare, and employment, he also addressed the social need of marriage support. He began organizing mass marriages, especially for orphaned girls. Inspired by him, his son Mahesh Savani has helped arrange marriages for over 5,000 girls.

Some people see Vallabhbhai as a strong and bold personality who gets things done even outside the system if needed. However, it is clear that all his efforts—whether within or outside the system—have ultimately benefited society, not just himself.

He believes that dreams should be planted, not buried. He has not only turned his own dreams into a strong tree but has also helped create a beautiful garden of dreams for millions, which will continue to spread happiness for years to come.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced in the Lok Sabha that Naxalism has been almost completely eradicated from various parts of the country. Notably, this objective has been achieved even before the pre-determined deadline of March 31, 2026. This is not an ordinary accomplishment—it is a historic victory for the nation.

Amit Shah had repeatedly emphasized that “Naxalism must be eliminated,” and he has now fulfilled that commitment. During nearly 60 years of Congress rule, tribal communities faced neglect—their land, water, and development needs were overlooked. Naxal groups took advantage of this situation to expand their influence. However, after 2014, the BJP government adopted a combined model of strong security measures and accelerated development.

The results are remarkable: the number of Naxal-affected districts has come down significantly from 125 to just 6. Today, these regions are witnessing an atmosphere of peace and stability.

This achievement is not merely symbolic—it represents a transformation in the lives of tribal communities. Areas that once echoed with the sounds of guns and explosions are now seeing rapid development in the form of roads, schools, hospitals, and infrastructure. Tribal citizens are gaining access to their rights and are increasingly becoming part of the country’s mainstream growth.

Under the leadership of Amit Shah, the Ministry of Home Affairs has effectively coordinated security forces with development initiatives. The results of this integrated strategy are now clearly visible. This is not just about one region—it is about strengthening the internal security of the entire nation.

The government led by Narendra Modi had promised that no internal threat would be allowed to hinder India’s progress, and today, that promise is steadily being fulfilled.

This technology proved successful during COVID-19 and is now being explored for cancer treatment.

In simple terms, just as a blueprint is created before building a house, our body has DNA, which acts as that blueprint. The information from this blueprint is delivered through a messenger called RNA. Based on this message, the body produces new cells. If we introduce a specific message into this system, the body starts working accordingly. In cancer, certain cells go out of control. mRNA technology helps the immune system recognize and fight these cells again, making it highly promising.

Why Can It Be Revolutionary?

mRNA vaccines can offer personalized treatment tailored to each patient. They directly prepare the body to fight cancer cells. In the future, they may even help prevent cancer before it develops. That is why this technology is considered a game-changer in medical science.

Why Does Misinformation Spread?

Despite its promise, misinformation about mRNA vaccines is spreading rapidly, creating fear and confusion among people.

New Subject, Old Fear

People naturally fear new medical technologies.

Role of Social Media

Platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and YouTube enable rapid spread of incomplete or misleading information.

Complexity of Science

Scientific concepts like mRNA are difficult to understand, making simplified misinformation seem believable.

Trust Deficit

Distrust in governments and pharmaceutical companies fuels doubts.

Profit-Driven Narratives

Some misinformation is spread intentionally for views, influence, or financial gain.

Cultural Beliefs

People often rely on word-of-mouth rather than verified sources.

Speed vs Science

Science takes time to validate facts, while misinformation spreads instantly.

Misinformation arises from fear, lack of knowledge, and rapid communication. The solution lies in spreading accurate and simple scientific information.

My advice to readers:

Verify if the source is an expert

Check for hidden motives

Ensure the information serves public interest

At the age of 18, in 1986, he moved from his village to Surat and entered the diamond industry. His ability to learn quickly helped him understand the business within just one year. Soon, he began trading diamonds internationally, including deals with Belgium. As the business expanded, he, along with his brothers, founded the “Sahil Star Group” in Surat and Mumbai. Later, they established the “JR Group,” which now operates in more than 15 countries, including Belgium, Hong Kong, Dubai, Taiwan, Thailand, the USA, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and Italy. His strong focus on quality has played a key role in achieving global success.

Manharbhai’s innovative mindset led him to explore new fields. In 2005, he entered the real estate sector by starting “JR Developers,” where he developed several commercial, residential, and textile park projects in Surat. Continuing his journey of diversification, he entered the highly competitive food industry in 2010 by founding “Euro India Fresh Foods Limited.” Today, products under the “Euro” brand are exported to many countries in Europe, America, Australia, and the Middle East. He has also developed India’s first high-tech, theme-based food park near Vapi, where visitors can experience the food industry firsthand. The park is designed around Indian culture and nationalism. He is known for maintaining high quality, such as not reusing oil after frying food products.

Recognizing his achievements, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appointed him to the Board of Governors of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), a national-level institution.

Apart from business, Manharbhai is deeply involved in social service. He serves as a trustee in several social, educational, and healthcare organizations. As the president of the “Late Jivanbhai Raghavjibhai Sanspara Charitable Trust,” he actively supports many welfare activities. He also plays important roles in organizations like Sardardham (South Gujarat Zone), Samast Patidar Samaj Trust, Saurashtra Patel Seva Samaj, Patidar Arogya Trust (Kiran Hospital), Surat Diamond Hospital, and Ramaba Cancer Hospital.

His service goes beyond positions and titles. Whether someone needs medical help, educational support, or encouragement in sports, people reach out to him directly, and he helps selflessly. Notably, he never promotes or publicizes his charitable work, choosing instead to serve quietly and sincerely.

He also remains closely connected to his native village. Every year, he organizes educational support activities for students and provides school bags, textbooks, and essential materials through various trusts, helping empower future generations.

Manharbhai Sanspara is a true example of someone who has successfully balanced business, family, and social responsibility. His simplicity, dedication, innovation, and commitment to quality make him an inspiration. His life shows that real success lies not only in business achievements but also in selfless service to society and living a value-based life.

(Utkarsh Patel)

Dependence on foreign goods weakens a country’s economy. When a nation relies too much on imports, it affects its independence and self-respect. Ongoing global conflicts and the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic clearly show that adopting locally made products is essential. This is not just a practical need, but also a responsibility toward the nation and a way to ensure a better standard of living for citizens.

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the risks of relying on foreign supplies. There were shortages of essential items like medicines, vaccines, and masks, leading to the loss of many lives. Later, the country had to quickly shift toward local production, and timely government action helped overcome the crisis. Even today, global tensions such as the Russia-Ukraine war and conflicts in the Middle East are disrupting supply chains. Prices of crude oil, food, and industrial raw materials are rising. In such situations, dependence on imports makes a country more vulnerable.

This is why Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant India) has become more relevant than ever. While the government has introduced policies, their success depends on the active participation of every citizen.

Using local products strengthens the economy. When people buy goods made in their own country, money stays within the nation. This supports small businesses, cottage industries, and startups, and creates more job opportunities, especially for young people. Today, Indian youth are leading in fields like science, AI technology, and innovation. With stronger support for local products, they can achieve success within the country instead of seeking opportunities abroad.

Local adoption also benefits farmers, artisans, and the middle class by increasing income and improving livelihoods. It leads to better health, education, and financial stability for citizens.

True patriotism should be reflected not just in speeches but in everyday actions. Every citizen should think about how their purchasing choices can strengthen the country. Promoting the idea of “Vocal for Local” in rural areas can help boost local markets. The government should also support domestic industries through tax benefits, subsidies, and training, while ensuring corruption is eliminated.

It is important to remember that Mahatma Gandhi promoted the idea of self-reliance and swadeshi during the freedom movement. The same path can guide the nation toward a stronger and self-reliant future today.

To ensure a stable and prosperous future for coming generations, adopting local products is the need of the hour. It will reduce unemployment fears among youth and build confidence in shaping the country’s future.

True patriotism lies in dedication to the nation. By choosing local products and becoming self-reliant, we can ensure a dignified life for every citizen and leave behind a strong legacy for future generations.

In Gujarat’s textile industry, Rachna Group of Surat is a leading name. The journey that began in 1980 through the efforts of Jayprakash Agarwal (JP) has today transformed into a remarkable success story. His textile-related companies now generate turnovers worth crores, export to more than thirty countries, and provide employment to thousands of families. This achievement is the result of his hard work, foresight, and commitment to quality.

Jayprakash Agarwal’s life is not defined by business success alone. His heart beats equally for social service. He believes that success is meaningful only when it is shared with society, and he actively lives this philosophy through his contributions.

He is a major donor in areas such as education, healthcare, old-age homes, cow protection, religious trusts, women’s safety, and tribal welfare. Beyond financial support, he also dedicates his time as a trustee. Whenever there is a call for public service by the government, he is among the first to contribute. In Surat, he has also extended full support—physically, mentally, and financially—to police and security-related initiatives. In matters concerning the textile industry, he stays away from conflicts and consistently works toward constructive solutions.

He holds deep admiration for Narendra Modi and actively participates in every service initiative inspired by his calls.

Jayprakash Agarwal’s life sends a powerful message to the youth: true success lies not in earning profits, but in giving back to society. Having achieved prosperity in Surat, he has done everything possible to repay the city. He truly deserves to be called a “Nagar Sheth” of Surat—someone whose hands are always open in service to others.

A 26-year-old woman, Kalpana Balan, has a total of 38 teeth in her mouth—six more than the average person. Due to this rare condition, her name has been recorded in the Guinness World Records. This raises an important question: if someone has extra teeth, should they be removed or left as they are?

Typically, an adult has 32 teeth. However, Kalpana Balan has 4 extra teeth in the lower jaw and 2 in the upper jaw. These extra teeth began appearing gradually during her teenage years. While she does not experience significant pain, food often gets stuck between her teeth while eating.

Why do extra teeth occur?

This condition is known as Hyperdontia or supernumerary teeth, where more teeth develop than usual. It is observed in about 3–4% of the global population.

Causes include:

Overdevelopment of tooth buds
Genetic factors
Splitting of tooth buds into two

Should extra teeth be removed or not?

The decision depends on several factors. Extra teeth may be retained if they:

Do not cause pain
Do not interfere with chewing
Do not disturb the alignment of other teeth
Do not increase the risk of infection or decay

However, regular dental check-ups are essential.

When is removal necessary?

Dentists usually recommend removal if:

Food frequently gets stuck
Teeth alignment is affected
There is difficulty in chewing
Risk of infection or decay increases

In many cases, extra teeth can be removed easily through minor surgery.

Having extra teeth is rare, but not all cases require removal. If they do not cause problems, they can be monitored under medical supervision.

A remarkable figure from Surat and well known among the city’s business community Jayesh Desai is the founder and chairman of the Rajhans Desai-Jain Group. A visionary entrepreneur he began with a small edible-oil unit in Surat and has built the vast Rajhans empire which today spans multiple sectors and generates a turnover of hundreds of crores. His journey truly embodies the group’s slogan “Wings of Happiness”.

Jayesh Desai was born in the small village of Parvadi in Bhavnagar district into a family of modest means. After completing primary education he moved to the dream city of Mumbai and took up a job. However he soon returned to his village to help his father in the family business. It was during this period that he experienced the harsh realities of life yet he possessed an extraordinary passion for hard work. Eventually he moved to Surat where with limited capital he launched a new venture. From that modest beginning his wings of success have continued to spread without pause.

In 1996 Jayesh Desai established the Rajhans Group with a small edible-oil unit that produced filtered groundnut and cottonseed oil. Thanks to his far-sighted vision and sharp business acumen the group expanded rapidly. Today the Rajhans Group is actively engaged in real estate (Rajhans Realty) cinemas (Rajhans Cinemas with more than 160 screens) hospitality confectionery (Schmitten Chocolates) textiles and several other sectors. The group has completed construction of over 30 million square feet of space and its customers remain highly satisfied.

His achievements have been widely recognised. He has featured in Forbes India’s “Indian Business Legends” (2021) and “India’s 100 Richest” (2022). He has also received numerous prestigious awards including ET Inspiring Leader Gujarat Ratna and Entrepreneur of the Year.

Jayesh Desai’s family life is exceptionally harmonious. He shares a close and affectionate bond with his brother Vijay Desai who is actively involved in the group. The entire family is often seen together at public events. Recently they attended the wedding of Sachin Tendulkar’s son as a united family. Jayesh Desai regards his employees as part of the “Rajhans Family” and treats them accordingly.

He is a patient enthusiastic optimistic and calculated risk-taker. His special talent lies in identifying business opportunities at the right time and implementing them with precision. He firmly believes that it is not the leader alone but teamwork that delivers results. He places customer satisfaction at the centre of everything and gives paramount importance to the principle of “customer happiness through delightful products and services.”

It is particularly noteworthy that Jayesh Desai holds deep respect and devotion for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He and his family have had the honour of meeting the Prime Minister – an experience they describe as “a moment of pride for the entire Rajhans Family.” He fully supports Prime Minister Modi’s vision of development.

By balancing wealth prosperity and achievement with humanity Jayesh Desai’s life message serves as an inspiring example for the youth of Gujarat: with self-confidence hard work calculated courage and a humane approach any goal can be achieved.

In the city of Surat often called the ‘city of gold’ for its prosperity and dynamism one name stands out prominently in the fields of architecture and interior design: Bankim Dave. He represents the third generation of a respected family legacy in the profession.

His father Tarun Dave was himself a well regarded architect whose practice spanned South Gujarat and Maharashtra. The family tradition was founded by his grandfather Ramanlal Dave who in 1949 established Surat’s first architectural firm, Ramanlal Dave & Sons. Ramanlal Dave is credited with designing the city’s first RCC (reinforced cement concrete) building, marking an important milestone in the region’s modern construction history.

Today Bankim Dave carries this heritage forward with exceptional skill and commitment. After completing his studies he joined his father’s firm in 1985 bringing a new dimension through specialised interior design expertise. With more than 35 years of experience Bankim Dave is also a government approved valuer.

His impressive portfolio includes highend bungalows, commercial complexes, hospitals, openair theatres and industrial buildings all delivered with consistent success. In the realm of luxury residential interiors especially Bankim Dave is recognised for his thoughtful and client-centred approach: he invests time in understanding each client’s lifestyle, family dynamics and personal sentiments, translating them into distinctive, bespoke living spaces. His firm Bankim Dave Architects is widely regarded as one of Surat’s leading architectural practices.

A natural perfectionist Bankim Dave is known for meticulous planning, regular site visits and a steadfast commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget. He maintains a strong interest in innovation and contemporary design trends. An articulate and considered speaker Bankim Dave has been actively involved with the Rotary Club since 1989 consistently maintaining 100% attendance and contribution.

His influence reaches far beyond Surat. As National President of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) from 2010 to 2012 Bankim Dave strengthened the organisation’s governance, aligned the educational syllabus with international standards and organised numerous workshops and seminars. He worked diligently to help Indian interior design gain wider global recognition. Bankim Dave has also remained deeply engaged with bodies such as the Asia Pacific Space Designers Alliance (APSDA) and the Council of World Leaders in Interior Design (CWLID). More recently he served as a jury member for WADE Asia 2024 and his work has been honoured with awards including the Hermes and Iris Prizes.

Locally Bankim Dave has taught at Surat’s Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) where he was greatly appreciated by students.

Bankim Dave does far more than design buildings and interiors; he helps turn people’s dreams and aspirations into reality. Across three generations the Dave family has made a lasting contribution to Surat’s architectural identity something the city can rightly take pride in.

Gujarat has a society that is mostly connected to the land. In whose life and blood there is a combination of farming culture and devotion. Today, the youth have turned towards urbanization after getting education. The quality and interest in farming are decreasing. Families living in cities are losing interest in village farming. Today, a situation has arisen that development is taking place in every sector in Gujarat, land prices have increased and due to this, the mentality of the youth who have got good education does not need farming and if they get good returns from the land, they will sell it. If the land is sold, the competition to build expensive cars and luxurious houses has increased! And in short, it can be said that it is a decision to spend (lose) lakhs.

But these youth need to understand that our heritage is agriculture and land is our identity and capital as farmers, which should be preserved. If you don't kill it, it will be fine, but at least we can maintain it and get the food grains for the house, what is the harm? We need to think a little positively and if we bring awareness, then life will remain in our village houses and farms.

In today's modern era, in the greed for development and luxury, we are forgetting our original identity. Land is not just wealth, it is a symbol of our existence. Our ancestors have irrigated this land with their sweat and developed the culture of agriculture in it. Today, when the young generation is attracted to urban life and expensive lifestyle, they forget that selling this land is not only a financial loss but a cultural and spiritual loss.

The immediate money received from selling land is used up in a few years. The shine of expensive cars and luxurious houses is fleeting. On the contrary, land becomes more valuable with time and it provides permanent security for our family. In economic downturns or other difficulties, land can be the true refuge. Many families in villages of Gujarat have regretted selling their land because it became impossible to get their land back.

We should appeal to the youth to modernize agriculture instead of giving it up. Agriculture can be made a profitable business with the use of drip irrigation, organic farming, solar technology and good marketing. If educated youth return to the farm, they can bring innovation. Doing so will not only bring economic benefits, but will also preserve family unity, village culture and the environment.

Our identity is from the land. It will remind our children of our heritage. It is essential that we adopt a positive mindset and keep our farms alive. As long as there are farms, the existence and dignity of the farmers of Gujarat will be maintained. This is true development.

Ever since Gujarat BJP President Jagdishbhai Panchal took charge, there has been a warm trust and renewed enthusiasm in the Gujarat BJP organization. Recently, he has made an important statement, "As a state president, I will never be able to sit in the shade on the stage and my workers will be sitting in the heat in front of me."

This is a statement that conveys a very deep message. For the past few years, the workers in the Gujarat BJP organization were suffering from neglect, fear and insult, Now the workers are experiencing completely opposite circumstances under the leadership of Jagdishbhai Panchal.

Jagdish Panchal is playing the role of a guardian for the BJP workers of the entire Gujarat as per the ideals of the BJP organization. The president is a humble guide for the workers, which seems to have come true now. He is continuing the tradition of leadership where the workers always come first. Gujarat BJP has always been known as a worker-based party and Jagdishbhai has strengthened it further. This approach of his has infused new energy and enthusiasm in the workers. He reaches out to the booth level workers and listens to their problems, guides them and values their efforts.

The Gujarat BJP organisation is becoming stronger and more active under Jagdishbhai’s leadership. His visits and worker conferences in various districts are giving new inspiration to the workers. This has increased the sense of unity, dedication and victory in the party. Workers can now speak openly, their hard work is noticed and they are feeling themselves as valuable workers of the party.

The impact of these changes will also be seen in Gujarat politics. When workers are motivated and happy, they work harder and can deliver the party’s message to the people more effectively. This people-centric and worker-loving approach of Jagdishbhai Panchal is in line with the tradition of BJP which has always been known as a worker-based organization. Today, Gujarat BJP is moving forward under a leadership that keeps the workers at the center.

There is no doubt that Gujarat BJP will become stronger and more organized in the coming days as a result of this leadership. The confidence of the workers has increased and they are ready to work harder for the party. The future of the party is bright with the presence of such a president. All the BJP workers of Gujarat are happy in this new era because they have got such a president who is with them in the sun and in the shade.

Tharoor has supported the Modi government's silence in the ongoing conflict between America, Israel and Iran. This time, Tharoor said that this silence is not cowardice but responsible diplomacy. Tharoor clarified that India's silence on the Iran issue is not support for war but awareness of national interest.

While the Congress party is constantly raising questions about this silence of the government. Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi had said that the government's silence on the targeted assassination of Khamenei is not neutrality but 'irresponsibility'. This raises questions about the credibility of India's foreign policy. Sonia Gandhi called this a big blow to India's foreign policy. Similarly, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha said that India's stance on condemning unilateral military action should be 'morally clear'. Gandhi appealed to the government to be more proactive on the issue.

But Shashi Tharoor has deviated from the party line on the issue. He said that in such a complex international situation, India should prioritize its national interests. India has energy ties with Iran while it has strong security and technology ties with Israel. In such a situation, supporting any one party can harm national interests. According to Tharoor, this silence is actually a symbol of a balanced foreign policy. He asserted that this is not cowardice but strategic diplomacy.

This issue is bringing a new equation in global politics. Iran's actions against America and Israel have cast a cloud of concern over the Middle East. India has always maintained neutrality in such conflicts. Tharoor has termed this policy of the Modi government as 'prudence'. Tharoor said that reality is more important than emotions in foreign policy. If India condemns any party, its economic and strategic interests will be affected. This silence is necessary considering the oil import from Iran and defense cooperation with Israel.

Other leaders of the Congress party call this a weakness of the government, but Tharoor believes that this policy makes India stronger. He has previously given different opinions from the party on foreign policy issues. This time his stance is in the news again. Analysts say that this statement of Tharoor exposes internal differences in the Congress.

In summary, it can be said that Indian foreign policy has always been based on the principle of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". Even in adverse times and crises, India has strengthened its image in the world by maintaining neutrality. Only if we give priority to national interests, India's place in the world will be stronger. Unity is necessary in foreign policy, but strategy is more important.

There was a time in our Gujarat when water from Sabarmati had to be filled in trains and delivered to Saurashtra. In 1986, when Saurashtra was hit by an incessant drought, even the water sources in big cities like Rajkot dried up. The lives of lakhs of people were stranded without water.

(Utkarsh Patel)

There was a time in our Gujarat when water from Sabarmati had to be filled in trains and delivered to Saurashtra. In 1986, when Saurashtra was hit by an incessant drought, even the water sources in big cities like Rajkot dried up. The lives of lakhs of people were stranded without water. Agriculture dried up, animals started dying and families were forced to migrate. At that time, trains filled with water from the Sabarmati area of Ahmedabad would reach Rajkot station. Thousands of people would gather to see this 'water train' carrying about 3.7 lakh liters of water. Hearing the whistle of the train, tears of joy would come to people's eyes. But this was a temporary solution. The shortage of water was increasing day by day and the soil of Saurashtra was thirsty.

If we were to describe the situation then, it would seem like a tragic memory. The villages of Saurashtra faced drought every year. Wells, ponds and dams would dry up. Women would walk for kilometers to fetch water. Farmers' crops would wither. Animal husbandry would become impossible. This situation reached its peak in the 1980s and 1990s. There was talk of shifting the population to cities like Rajkot. Life without water was impossible. At that time, no one knew that one day this Saurashtra would be filled with the nectar of water.

But the talk of development started when the BJP government and its visionary leaders gave priority to the issue of water. Keshubhai Patel's name is at the forefront here. The far-sighted steps that Keshubhai Patel took as Chief Minister are still worthy of praise today. He gave impetus to the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Yojana. He built thousands of check dams and ponds under the Sardar Patel Jal Sanchay Sahaghi Yojana. He did water conservation work in collaboration with the Jaldhara Trust. Under the leadership of Keshubhai Patel, the BJP government planned the Mahi Canal and Narmada Canal pipeline projects for the development of Saurashtra Kutch. The projects he laid the foundation for in 2000 are providing nectar in the form of water to Saurashtra today. This journey would have been impossible without Keshubhai Patel's foresight and tireless efforts. He must be praised significantly, he was a leader who understood the thirst of Saurashtra and paved the way for its solution.

Then came Narendrabhai Modi. His contribution as Chief Minister and today as Prime Minister is incredible. Narendrabhai made Keshubhai Patel's dream a reality. After 2001, he increased the height of the Sardar Sarovar Dam and accelerated the work of delivering Narmada water to Saurashtra. SAUNI scheme (Saurashtra Narmada Avtaran Irrigation Scheme) is his biggest gift. Under this scheme, Narmada water was filled in 115 small and big dams and lakes of Saurashtra through 1126 km long pipelines. Dams like Aaji, Uprai, Dhori are now overflowing with Narmada water. Lakhs of acres of land got irrigated. Farmers' crops increased. The yield of groundnut, cotton and other agricultural products increased. With the continuous commitment of the BJP government and the unwavering hard work of Narendrabhai Modi, the water network in Saurashtra expanded. As the Prime Minister, he provided tap water to every household through various schemes. Today, there is no shortage of water in the villages of Saurashtra. A new story of development has been written with drip irrigation, rainwater harvesting and the expansion of the Narmada Canal.

If we compare the situation today with that time, we can see a huge difference. If we had to wait for a train for water then, today water flows to each and every house to house and farm. Agriculture is now developed in Saurashtra. Irrigation facilities have been provided in lakhs of acres. Animal husbandry and dairy industry have flourished. Migration to villages has decreased and prosperity has increased. The water of Narmada has made Saurashtra life-giving. This change has become possible under the policies of the BJP government and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi. Without the visionary initiative of Keshubhai Patel, the continuous hard work of the BJP government and the tireless work of Narendrabhai, this dream would not have come true. All three should be praised because they did not let Saurashtra remain thirsty. Due to their efforts, today every Saurashtra family is saturated with water.

But happiness has come with water, it does not mean that we should misuse it. Happiness has come with water and knowing how to digest happiness is the true feeling. Today we should conserve water. It is necessary to collect rainwater, drip irrigation and increase awareness. So that future generations can also experience this happiness. We should remember this invaluable contribution of Keshubhai Patel, the BJP government and Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi and take their vision forward.

This water struggle saga of Saurashtra is an inspiring saga. The gap between the thirst of then and the prosperity of today shows the willpower of leadership. Water is life and preserving it is the true spirit. If we all move forward with this spirit, the future of Saurashtra will become brighter.

Surat, a city known as the textile capital of India, has produced many successful entrepreneurs who have earned global recognition through hard work and vision. Among such inspiring personalities, Kamalbhai Tulsiyan (Kamal Vijay Ramchandra Tulsiyan) stands out. He is not only a successful textile industrialist but also a social worker, an able guide in the banking sector, and a strong voice for the industry. His life shows that true success comes when business is combined with service to the society.

Kamalbhai started his career from very humble and challenging beginnings. In the Pandesara GIDC area of Surat, he established J. R. Dyeing & Printing Mills Pvt. Ltd., which is now considered one of the oldest and most trusted saree manufacturing and processing companies in the country. His company has become a symbol of quality and reliability in dyeing, printing, and texturizing. He has also focused on modernizing the industry by adopting eco-friendly technologies and taking continuous steps for the welfare of workers. Today, he runs the business along with his family members.

His personality becomes even more impressive through his commitment to social service. He is actively serving as the Chairman of The Sutex Co-operative Bank Ltd., which provides financial support to Surat’s textile industry and small and medium traders. Under his leadership, the bank has contributed significantly through education loans, business loans, and various social initiatives.

Kamalbhai has also served as the President of the Pandesara Industrial Cooperative Society, where he worked to protect the interests of textile units. His contributions to organizations like the Southern Gujarat Textile Processors Association (SGTPA) and Surat Mega Textile Processing Park Association have been valuable for industry growth. As a patron and managing committee member of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI), he has always spoken boldly for the rights and concerns of traders.

One of his most notable qualities is that he never avoids challenges. During difficult times such as the 1994 plague and the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he played an important role in supporting workers, protecting the industry, and helping society. By coordinating with the government and local administration, he provided financial and emotional support to many families. Such efforts truly define him as a social leader beyond being an industrialist.

Even at the age of around 74, Kamalbhai continues to maintain an active daily routine like a young entrepreneur. He is known for his straightforward nature and never hesitates to speak openly about industry issues, whether in front of politicians or senior officials. He lives a simple life and treats his workers like family members. He strongly believes in environmental protection and the use of modern technology to ensure sustainable growth in the textile sector. His involvement in social activities related to education, healthcare, and industry is remarkable.

Kamalbhai Tulsiyan’s work teaches us that success is not just for personal gain but for the benefit of society. He truly believes that real success lies in moving forward together with everyone. His life reflects the idea that “success means growing together.” Personalities like him continue to inspire young entrepreneurs in Surat and beyond.

A Gujarati investing in America is a matter of pride for the country and Gujarat!! This sentence has become a reality today because of Gujarat's richest man Mukesh Ambani and his visionary Reliance Group. In March 2026, US President Donald Trump announced that Reliance Industries is making a historic investment of $300 billion in Texas. This is the first new oil refinery project in 50 years in the history of America. The groundbreaking of this project in Brownsville will take place in the second quarter of 2026 and American Shell oil will be processed with a 20-year offtake agreement. This is not just business but a symbol of the vision of the Gujarati industrialist which further strengthens the relations between India and America.

Mukesh Ambani's life story begins from the soil of Gujarat. His father, great Dhirubhai Ambani was from Chorwad. He started with just a clothing store and built the world's most modern refinery empire. Mukesh Ambani carried on this legacy. His heart and thoughts were always connected to Gujarat and India. He studied at Stanford but returned to India to fulfill his father's dream. Today, he is one of the richest people in the world as the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries. His net worth is in the billions of dollars but his biggest treasure is his hard work, vision and social service for the pride of Gujarat.

The journey of Reliance Group is amazing. The world's largest refinery complex in Jamnagar with a capacity of 1.4 million barrels per day is still the pride of Gujarat. This refinery not only processes crude but also provides employment to thousands of people and contributes to India's economic self-reliance. The company, which started with textiles during Dhirubhai's time, today leads the world in petrochemicals, telecom, retail and new energy sectors. Jio Platform has brought India's digital revolution. With over 500 million customers, Jio has fulfilled the dream of Digital India to the villages by providing cheap mobile data and 4G 5G networks. Today, Jio is also working on a large scale in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

In 2026, Mukesh Ambani made a historic announcement at the India AI Impact Summit that Reliance and Jio will jointly invest Rs 10 lakh crore (about $ 110 billion) in AI in the next seven years. Multi-gigawatt AI data centers are being built in Jamnagar and 120 MW capacity will come online in the second half of 2026. This investment is not just for technology but also has a vision to make India a global AI power. Mukesh Ambani said that “India’s demography, democracy, development and digital infrastructure are unparalleled in the world.” This AI will revolutionize India’s farmers, industries, healthcare and education.

Also, at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, Mukesh Ambani announced that after investing Rs 3.5 lakh crore in the last five years, it will be doubled to Rs 7 lakh crore in the next five years. He said, “Gujarat is not just a place for Reliance, it is its body, heart and soul. We are a Gujarati company.” Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex is being built in Jamnagar, which will be the world’s largest renewable energy project. This project will make Gujarat a hub of green energy and provide employment to thousands of youth.

The investment in Texas, America, is the result of the confidence of a Gujarati. This project will give Reliance a strong presence in the energy landscape of America. US President Trump called it a “big win for American workers” and thanked Reliance. This investment strengthens the strategic relationship between India and the US and increases the global acceptance of the Gujarati industrialist. Reliance’s global presence in petrochemicals exports, growth in retail and innovation in the media sector are establishing India as a world power today.

Mukesh Ambani is not just a businessman, he is a visionary and philanthropist. His family, together with his wife Nita Ambani and children, is largely dedicated to education, health and Indian, especially Gujarati culture. Reliance Foundation runs health services, schools and women’s empowerment services in villages. Today, Reliance Group employs millions of people, boosts the economy and makes India self-reliant.

Mukesh Ambani’s life is an inspiration.

His vision showed that the hard work of a Gujarati and the power of Indian thinking can conquer the world. Investment in America, development in Gujarat and digital green revolution in India are all the results of the dreams of one person. He is a role model for the youth of Gujarat who dreams and makes them come true.

In short, Mukesh Ambani and Reliance Group are the pride of Gujarat and India. It is a matter of pride for Gujaratis that a proud son of Gujarat and his family are changing the world!
