Ayodhyadham has been a center of firm faith in Indian culture and politics. This city, known as the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, is not only the center of religious faith but it is also a bridge connecting religion and the spirit of service to the country. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement has epitomized this in which lakhs of devotees have fought and awakened the spirit of national unity and service. This movement has proven that religion is not just a personal faith but can also become a means of national revival. When people take refuge in Lord Ram, they are saved, this is something that politicians have accepted because Ayodhyadham is a living example of it.

The role of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement has been revolutionary in Indian politics. This movement, which started in the 1980s, brought global awareness to the Hindu community and was taken up as a national issue. This movement gave a strong base to the country's political party BJP, which kept religion at the center.

The BJP combined this with the values of national service and promised development and cultural revival. As a result, under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi, the BJP got unprecedented success in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, in which the promise of Shri Ram temple played a major role. This movement gave the BJP a strong victory, which was a combination of religious nationalism and development.

On the other hand, the failure of the Congress and other opposition parties is due to their ambiguous role in this movement. For decades, the Congress ignored or opposed the issue of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, which they considered a communal issue. This attitude alienated them from the sentiments of the Hindu majority voters of the country and weakened their political grip.

This indecision of Congress has proven to be their fundamental failure which has made them a failure and powerless at the national level. Other parties also lost elections by either playing down this issue or adopting an opposing stance. On the other hand, BJP linked religion with the scope of service through politics, in which the construction of the Ayodhya temple became a symbol of national pride.

The fact that Ayodhya has become an inspiration for religion and service to the country today shows that when politics is combined with religious sentiment, it strengthens the nation. Ignoring religious sentiments like the Congress leads to failure. Therefore, in today's era of immortality, ultimately salvation lies in taking refuge in Lord Ram, this is something that politicians of all political parties have to accept.

Famous poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas had said in a recent program that “Youth are going to Ayodhya instead of visiting graveyards in Agra.” This sentence is not a simple description, but a reflection of the mindset of today’s youth in India. Leaving behind the historical beauty of the Taj Mahal and the past folklore associated with it, the young generation is being drawn towards the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This change is not just about tourism but is a symbol of the feeling towards Indian culture, tradition and spirituality. Today’s youth are moving forward on the path of development and it is a matter of pride to stick to their culture.

The Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya has become one of the most visited religious places in the world after its inauguration in 2024. In 2024 alone, more than 13.5 crore pilgrims came here, most of whom were young people. This figure is very big with the Mahakumbh Mela and other religious events in 2025. The younger generation is not just coming for darshan but is being inspired to adopt the ideals, limits, duties and religion of Shri Ram in their lives. The popularity of yoga, meditation, astrology and spiritual content on social media has increased, and 80% of the youth in the age group of 18 to 30 are involved in such content.

This transformation is a beautiful confluence of modernity and tradition. Today's youth are moving forward in technology, startups and global careers, but they have also increased their hunger for spirituality. Amidst global conflicts, mental health problems and fast-paced lifestyles, the youth are finding peace and stability in Indian culture. There has been a 30-40% increase in the number of young pilgrims in places like Ayodhya, Varanasi, Tirupati. These youth are not only religious but also cultured and patriotic. They are embracing their cultural and religious heritage with pride.

This change is also auspicious for India's development. Spiritual tourism boosts the economy, increases employment and revitalizes cultural heritage. When the youth follow the path of Shri Ram, they not only find personal peace but also strengthen the nation. In the words of Kumar Vishwas, this young generation is starting a new chapter of Indian culture by going to Ayodhya. This is a matter of pride because these youth are the builders of the future India that will stand on the balance of spirituality and development.
