Today, when the world has started seeing India as a developed nation, the name of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi has been immortalized as the most successful Prime Minister of modern India. Leading the country for the third consecutive term since 2014, PM Modi has given a new direction not only to India but also to the world. His development model, welfare schemes and global diplomacy have made India the 4th largest economy in the world from 10th place. This success is not a miracle but the result of visionary leadership.

First, let's talk about his global acceptance. By 2026, Prime Minister Modi has received the highest civilian honors from 29 to 31 countries. UAE's Order of Zayed, Saudi's Order of King Abdulaziz, Russia's Order of St. Andrew, France's Legion of Honor, Egypt's Order of the Nile, Bhutan's Order of the Dragon King, Palestine's Grand Collar, Oman's Order of Oman (2025), Ethiopia's Great Honor Nishan and many more. The number of these honors is many times more than any other Indian Prime Minister. Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi or Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji received only one or two such honors. Modi ji has become the most honored leader in the world.

His achievement in the economic field is amazing. The Indian economy was at 10th place in 2014, which has become the 4th largest economy in the world in 2026. According to IMF, India is the fastest growing major economy in the world. Annual growth of 7.4 to 7.8%. GDP has increased three times. Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat and PLI schemes boosted production. UPI became the world's largest digital payment system. Exports crossed $825 billion in 2024-25. The target of reaching the third position by 2030 is on track to be realized.

The infrastructure revolution has been amazing. Since 2014, 1.46 lakh km of new roads have been built, more than 150 airports have become operational, the network of Vande Bharat trains has expanded, the metro has become more than 1000 km long. Roads, rails, ports and airports have been connected under the PM Gati Shakti Yojana. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has built more than 10 crore toilets, more than 50 crore bank accounts in the Jan Dhan Yojana, LPG to women through the Ujjwala Yojana, free treatment to 50 crore people through Ayushman Bharat, direct assistance to farmers through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Indian vaccines have helped more than 100 countries in the Corona epidemic.

In foreign policy, PM Modi has put India on the global stage and made it noticed. India's role in forums like G20 presidency, QUAD, I2U2 has been immense. He is the only world leader to have received respect from both Israel and Palestine.

Talking about popularity, his popularity in the India Today-CVoter survey is 67 to 71%. Today, our country's PM Modi is at the first place among the most popular leaders in the world. More than 10 crore followers on Instagram are also proof of this.

Other Prime Ministers of India have also made important contributions, but PM Modi's leadership has been the most special. He has embodied the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas'. The dream of a developed India by 2047 is not far away now!

Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi's name will be written in golden letters in history as the most successful Prime Minister of modern India.

Gujarat has always played a pivotal role in India’s political history. The state has given the nation remarkable leaders whose partnerships have not only shaped Indian politics but also elevated the country’s pride on the global stage. Two such extraordinary duos are Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Both pairs originating from the land of Gujarat have given new dimensions to India’s history through their vision dedication and leadership.

Gandhi-Sardar: Pillars of Independence

The partnership of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel formed the foundation of India’s freedom struggle. Mahatma Gandhi revered as the Father of the Nation gave the country a new direction through the path of non-violence and satyagraha. Under his leadership movements like the Dandi Salt March Non-Cooperation Movement and Quit India Movement shook the foundations of British rule. Gandhi’s ideology and simplicity inspired millions of Indians to unite.

On the other hand Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel known as the ‘Iron Man’ of India gave practical shape to Gandhi’s ideals. Through movements like the Kheda Satyagraha and Bardoli Satyagraha Patel fought for farmers’ rights. His most significant achievement was the integration of 562 princely states into the Indian Union crafting the unified map of modern India. The combination of Gandhi’s idealistic vision and Sardar’s pragmatic policies was so powerful that it succeeded in driving out British rule and establishing India as a unified nation.

A remarkable aspect of this duo was how Gandhi and Patel complemented each other’s strengths. While Gandhi won the hearts of the people Sardar ensured national unity through practical policies and resolute decisions. Emerging from the soil of Gujarat these two leaders gave the nation a new future a source of immense pride for Gujaratis.

Modi-Shah: Architects of Modern India

In the present era the duo of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah is writing a new chapter in Indian politics. Narendra Modi who led Gujarat as Chief Minister from 2001 to 2014 transformed the state into a model of development. After becoming India’s Prime Minister in 2014 he set a new direction for the nation’s progress with the slogan ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ (Together with All Development for All). Initiatives like Digital India Make in India Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Ayushman Bharat have helped India emerge as a modern nation. Modi’s global leadership style has secured India a strong position on the international stage.

Amit Shah often referred to as the Chanakya of political strategy has played a crucial role in translating Modi’s vision into reality. As Home Minister he has taken historic decisions to strengthen internal security combat terrorism and reinforce national unity. The revocation of Article 370 the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and steps toward a Uniform Civil Code reflect his farsighted policies. Shah’s strategies have established the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as a dominant force on India’s political landscape.

The strength of this duo lies in how Modi’s ability to connect with the masses complements Shah’s organizational prowess. While Modi captures the hearts of the people Shah leads the party’s strategies and electoral victories. This partnership has taken Gujarat’s development model to the national stage helping India emerge as a global power.

The Pride of Gujarat

The duos of Gandhi-Sardar and Modi-Shah are the pride of Gujarat’s soil. Both pairs share the commonality of confronting the challenges of their times and giving the nation a new direction. Gandhi and Sardar laid the foundation for independence and unity while Modi and Shah have strengthened modern India’s development and security. These duos have showcased Gujarat’s culture diligence and vision to the world.

For Gujaratis it is a matter of pride that these leaders have not only illuminated Gujarat’s name nationally but also globally.

Their success inspires every Gujarati demonstrating that dedication integrity and vision can overcome any challenge. Today Gujarat holds a respected place worldwide due to the contributions of these leaders and this pride resonates in the hearts of Gujaratis everywhere.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a name that has a unique identity on the political and social scene of India. His roadshows are not just a political program of BJP but a medium that directly connects with the hearts of the people. The question arises that why are these roadshows held? And why do people flock to them in lakhs? The answer to both these questions lies in the awareness of the citizens of our country, the power of leadership and the country and people-oriented personality of Prime Minister Modi.

The main purpose of Prime Minister Modi's roadshows is to establish direct communication with the people as a leader. This roadshow is not just election-oriented but is a platform to understand the feelings, hopes and ambitions of the people and to create an emotional bond with them. Prime Minister Modi is an emotional and sensitive leader. Through his roadshows, he reaches out to people living in every corner of the country and touches their emotions by being among them. This road show is a celebration of democracy in which the gap between the leader and the people is reduced.

Why do people flock in lakhs to this road show? The reason for this is Prime Minister Modi's popular personality and his inspiring leadership. He is a leader who started his life from a small village. He rose from a common family and reached the highest position in the country. His life is a symbol of inspiration for every Indian. People see their dreams and hopes in him. The simplicity of his speech, sincerity and unwavering devotion to the country attract people. The public that emerges in the road show is the trust of the people who have placed in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

The talk of danger in this road show is also true. There is always a security challenge in a crowd of lakhs of people but Prime Minister Modi's love and trust for the people ignores this danger too. He believes that democracy is incomplete without connecting with the people. This road show is a beautiful combination of the responsibility of a leader and the participation of the people.

All this makes it clear that Prime Minister Modi's roadshow is not just a political event but an effort that symbolizes the unity, hopes and building of a new India. The crowd of people is the faith in the future of the country and the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is an inspiration that encourages every Indian to move forward on the path of development.

A historic time is emerging in the Indian political arena where influential leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor are exposing the truth about Pakistan's terrorist activities on the national and global stage. The joint efforts of these two personalities are proving to be a symbol of India's unity, strength and moral leadership. India is today giving a strong message of its position to the world through decisive action like 'Operation Sindoor' regarding Pakistan's terrorism and the skill of presenting the truth at the global level. This leadership duo has awakened a sense of pride and satisfaction in the hearts of Indians.

Prime Minister Modi's fearless leadership style...

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership has become a symbol of India's new identity. 'Operation Sindoor' is a living example of India's zero tolerance policy against terrorism. In response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India carried out a precise and decisive strike on terrorist hideouts in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on May 7, 2025, killing more than 100 terrorists. This action showed the world that India is no longer going to sit idly by and will give a befitting reply to terrorism.

Prime Minister Modi has presented the success of this operation and India's policy to the public during his tours across the country. The messages given in his meetings not only unite the people of the country but also introduce India's fearlessness and commitment to the global community. During the inauguration of development works worth Rs. 53,400 crore in Bhuj, Prime Minister Modi clearly said that 'Terrorism is a global threat and India's policy is of zero tolerance.' These words of his resonate in the hearts of every citizen of the country and instill a sense of pride.

Shashi Tharoor's role on the global stage...

On the other hand, Shashi Tharoor's presence on the global stage is becoming a powerful hallmark of India's diplomacy. His eloquence and ability to engage with leaders around the world strengthen India's position. Shashi Tharoor, in an interaction with the Guyana media, presented evidence of Pakistan's involvement in the Pahalgam attack, mentioning the Lashkar-e-Taiba's front organization, The Resistance Front. His efforts exposed Pakistan's terrorist infrastructure to the world.

Tharoor's international lobbying and efforts to identify Pakistan as a terrorist state are a testament to India's diplomatic strength. Tharoor's role is being praised in posts on social media where he is strongly representing India's side around the world. The combination of these two leaders presents a leadership that is effective both inside and outside the country.

A sense of pride and satisfaction...

With the combination of these two leaders, India is emerging as a powerful and moral nation in the world today. Prime Minister Modi's fearless policies and Tharoor's diplomatic skills are taking the country to new heights. The significance behind the name 'Operation Sindoor' also reflects India's culture and sensitivity, paying tribute to the women who lost their husbands in the Pahalgam attack.

It is natural for this leadership to instill a sense of pride in the heart of every Indian. This is a time of India's unity and strength to expose Pakistan's terrorist policies. The duo of Modi and Tharoor has shown that India will neither remain silent nor bow down. But will show the world the path of justice and truth.

From Dhaka to Pahalgam: Is It Fair to Compare Gandhi and Modi?

(Virang Bhatt)

India has long dealt with Pakistani aggression and terrorism. In the aftermath of the recent Pahalgam incident and India's subsequent retaliation, comparisons are being drawn between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Especially by the Congress party, which is attempting to highlight how Indira Gandhi had once broken Pakistan into two. But the question remains—is such a comparison valid? Let’s discuss this issue in light of historical facts.

1.1971 and 2025: Different Contexts

Indira Gandhi (1971):

After the partition of India in 1947, Pakistan was split into two regions—West Pakistan (present-day Pakistan) and East Pakistan (present-day Bangladesh). At the time, Pakistan was militarily weak with a small army, while India was relatively powerful. Pakistani forces were committing mass atrocities in East Pakistan, and millions of refugees were pouring into India.

Narendra Modi (2025, Pahalgam Attack):
Today, both India and Pakistan are nuclear-armed nations with strong economies and modern militaries. However, Pakistan continues to engage in proxy warfare by supporting terrorists. The recent attack in Pahalgam was carried out by Pakistan-backed terrorists. In response, India launched Operation Sindoor, a strategic counteraction.

2. India’s Response

Indira Gandhi:

Within just 13 days of war, India secured a decisive victory, leading to the surrender of 93,000 Pakistani soldiers. Pakistan was split in two, and Bangladesh was born.

Narendra Modi:
India responded to the Pahalgam attack with targeted airstrikes that destroyed terrorist camps. Operation Sindoor avenged the attack—without officially declaring war.

3. Strategy

Gandhi:
Her goal was to weaken Pakistan and liberate Bangladesh—both were successfully achieved.

Modi:
His objective was to send a strong and clear message against terrorism and maintain public confidence. Both goals were effectively met.

4. Diplomacy

Gandhi:
She skillfully built an alliance with the Soviet Union to counter American pressure. At the time, both superpowers held equal influence.

Modi:
India convincingly justified its actions on the international stage. Pakistan was forced into silence. Even China, which often backs Pakistan, refrained from intervening. India made it clear that any future support for terrorism would invite immediate retaliation.

5. Impact

Gandhi:
She earned the title *“Iron Lady”* for her decisive leadership.

Modi:
Operation Sindoor reinforced India’s position as a nation that no longer tolerates terrorism and will strike deep into enemy territory if provoked.

6. Domestic Political Impact

Gandhi:
She won a massive electoral victory in 1972 post-war. However, within five years, political instability led to the declaration of Emergency.

Modi:
Though war was not officially declared, the atmosphere mirrored wartime intensity. The real political impact of Operation Sindoor will become evident in the results of the upcoming Bihar elections.

Conclusion

Indira Gandhi and Narendra Modi belong to entirely different eras, yet both have shown unwavering commitment to India's integrity and security. The Dhaka of 1971 and the Pahalgam of 2025 are separated by over five decades. Direct comparisons between the two leaders may be difficult, yet public opinion will always try to draw parallels.

This merchant community has not only gained worldwide fame for their business acumen and ethical conduct, but has also inspired everyone with their unwavering loyalty to the nation.

Meaning of Bohra

The Dawoodi Bohras are a sub-community of the Musta'ili branch of Shia Ismaili Islam, which originated in the 10th century under the Fatimid Caliphate. The community derives its name from the Gujarati word ‘Bohra’ (to trade), which refers to their trading tradition.

In India, especially in Gujarat, the Bohras have taken deep roots and over time have spread across the world. Today, the Dawoodi Bohras live as a small but thriving community in India, Pakistan, Europe, America, Australia, Africa and the Middle East. Their religious leaders, the Dai al-Mutlaq, especially the 53rd Dai Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, provide them with moral and spiritual guidance, through which they maintain their values even in the modern era.

Nationalist People

The greatest feature of the Dawoodi Bohra community is its patriotism. In India, they have always been committed to the development and unity of the nation. Recently, their active role in supporting the Waqf Amendment Act 2025 shows that they combine the national interest with the interest of their community. This Act will enable transparent management of Waqf properties, thereby protecting the assets of minority communities like the Dawoodi Bohras. This step is a symbol of their commitment to the nation, as they believe that their progress lies in the progress of the nation.

During their meetings with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Dawoodi Bohras have supported the vision of a developed India 2047. They say that India has always allowed their identity to flourish, and today they want to contribute to the development of the nation. Such a sentiment shows that the Dawoodi Bohras are not just a religious minority, but a community that supports national unity and progress.

With business ethics

The Dawoodi Bohras have a centuries-old trading tradition. They follow the ethical principles of Islamic business, which emphasize interest-free transactions and honesty. Today, they are successful in various industries around the world, including textiles, real estate, education, healthcare and technology. The secret to their success is their hard work, innovation and trust among community members.

The business model of the Dawoodi Bohras is a model for minority communities. They not only develop economically, but also use their success for social service. For example, through their ‘Faiz al-Mawaid al-Burhaniyah’ scheme, they deliver food to every household in the community, so that no one goes hungry. Such initiatives show that they are not only financially strong, but also committed to social justice.

Modernity with tradition

The culture of the Dawoodi Bohras is a beautiful blend of Yemeni, Egyptian, Persian and Indian traditions. Their language, Lisan al-Dawat, is a form of Gujarati, which includes Arabic, Urdu and Persian words.

This language is an important part of their identity, which preserves their religious and cultural heritage. Their attire, Libas al-Anwar, is also unique. Men wear white kurtas, saya and caps, while women wear colorful ridas, which are distinct from the hijab and reflect their modern yet traditional style.

This community has demonstrated an amazing ability to balance modernity and tradition. They have also successfully thrived in the digital age. For example, Bohra women today are active in online business and entrepreneurship, demonstrating that they can combine modern business with traditional values. Such versatility and adaptability make them a role model for minority communities.

Education and Social Service

The Dawoodi Bohras attach great importance to education. Their educational institution, Al-Jami’a-tus-Saifiya, offers religious and secular education worldwide. This institution prepares the youth by combining modern technology and traditional knowledge. In addition, their MSB educational institutions provide quality education in many countries of the world.

Bohras are also pioneers in social service. Through their ‘Project Rise’ scheme, they work in areas such as education, health and environmental protection. In India, the ‘Saifi Burhani Upliftment Project’ in Bhendi Bazaar, Mumbai is a great example of urban redevelopment, which is in line with national development efforts.

As a global role model

The Dawoodi Bohra community is a minority community that can become a role model for other communities in the world. Their nationalistic spirit, business ethics, cultural diversity and commitment to social service make them unique. In a multicultural country like India, they are a symbol of unity and harmony. Around the world, they set an example of peaceful coexistence and mutual cooperation.

The Dawoodi Bohra community is a people who, through their nationalistic fervor, business acumen and social commitment, are a shining example for minority communities. Their success is not that they progressed economically, but that they never forgot their values and loyalty to the nation. Their contribution to India's development and their positive image at the global level show that the Dawoodi Bohras are indeed an ideal community, showing the world the path of unity, ethics and progress.
