AURO University, Surat, will host its 13th Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, 27th December 2025, at 4:45 p.m., on its campus. The ceremony will be graced by   
                                
Govindjibhai Dholakia, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. (SRK) and Shree Ramkrishna Knowledge Foundation (SRKKF), as the Chief Guest.

Founded under the leadership of Hasmukhbhai P. Rama and inspired by the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and The Divine Mother, AURO University is a premier institution of Integral and Transformational Learning. It has effectively implemented the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020).

During the 13th convocation, 313 students (160 boys and 153 girls) will be conferred with a Ph.d. Post-Graduate, Under-Graduate Degrees, and Diplomas. The ceremony will also honour 32 rank holders, including 14 Gold Medals and 18 Silver Medals.Two research scholars will receive their Ph.D degree.

The event marks a significant academic milestone, celebrating student achievement and the beginning of their professional journeys.

The School of Integral Education at AURO University is currently hosting a special exhibition that fuses European artistry with Indian spirituality, showcasing the evocative paintings of acclaimed Italian artist, Mr. Aghni (Tonioni Giovanni).

The collection, on display from November 19th to 21st, 2025, is a profound visual interpretation of Sri Aurobindo's spiritual epic, Savitri: A Legend and a Symbol.

Mr. Aghni, a devoted follower of Sri Aurobindo associated with the Sri Aurobindo Society, Italy, has translated the epic's vast symbolism and transformative message onto his canvases. His artworks serve as more than mere illustrations; they are invitations to experience Savitri as a path of inner awakening and mystical revelation.

"Mr. Aghni’s artistic journey reflects his inner dedication to Sri Aurobindo’s vision," said a representative from the School of Integral Education. "Through his evocative canvases, he brings alive the epic’s symbolism, mysticism, and transformative message."

This exhibition offers a unique cultural and spiritual opportunity, perfectly aligning with AURO University’s mission to foster holistic enrichment. It allows students, faculty, art enthusiasts, and the wider community to witness the powerful convergence of art, deep spirituality, and the principles of Integral Education.

The employees and students of AURO University strongly condemned the inhumane terrorist attack that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, on 22nd April 2025. In a solemn and unified expression of grief and resilience, the university community came together to take a Solidarity Pledge, reinforcing their commitment to the unity and integrity of the nation.

During the observance, participants pledged to dedicate themselves to preserving the unity, integrity, and security of the country. The pledge further emphasized the importance of spreading this message of peace and national solidarity among fellow citizens and making personal contributions to ensuring internal security.
