A historic time is emerging in the Indian political arena where influential leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor are exposing the truth about Pakistan's terrorist activities on the national and global stage. The joint efforts of these two personalities are proving to be a symbol of India's unity, strength and moral leadership. India is today giving a strong message of its position to the world through decisive action like 'Operation Sindoor' regarding Pakistan's terrorism and the skill of presenting the truth at the global level. This leadership duo has awakened a sense of pride and satisfaction in the hearts of Indians.

Prime Minister Modi's fearless leadership style...

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership has become a symbol of India's new identity. 'Operation Sindoor' is a living example of India's zero tolerance policy against terrorism. In response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India carried out a precise and decisive strike on terrorist hideouts in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on May 7, 2025, killing more than 100 terrorists. This action showed the world that India is no longer going to sit idly by and will give a befitting reply to terrorism.

Prime Minister Modi has presented the success of this operation and India's policy to the public during his tours across the country. The messages given in his meetings not only unite the people of the country but also introduce India's fearlessness and commitment to the global community. During the inauguration of development works worth Rs. 53,400 crore in Bhuj, Prime Minister Modi clearly said that 'Terrorism is a global threat and India's policy is of zero tolerance.' These words of his resonate in the hearts of every citizen of the country and instill a sense of pride.

Shashi Tharoor's role on the global stage...

On the other hand, Shashi Tharoor's presence on the global stage is becoming a powerful hallmark of India's diplomacy. His eloquence and ability to engage with leaders around the world strengthen India's position. Shashi Tharoor, in an interaction with the Guyana media, presented evidence of Pakistan's involvement in the Pahalgam attack, mentioning the Lashkar-e-Taiba's front organization, The Resistance Front. His efforts exposed Pakistan's terrorist infrastructure to the world.

Tharoor's international lobbying and efforts to identify Pakistan as a terrorist state are a testament to India's diplomatic strength. Tharoor's role is being praised in posts on social media where he is strongly representing India's side around the world. The combination of these two leaders presents a leadership that is effective both inside and outside the country.

A sense of pride and satisfaction...

With the combination of these two leaders, India is emerging as a powerful and moral nation in the world today. Prime Minister Modi's fearless policies and Tharoor's diplomatic skills are taking the country to new heights. The significance behind the name 'Operation Sindoor' also reflects India's culture and sensitivity, paying tribute to the women who lost their husbands in the Pahalgam attack.

It is natural for this leadership to instill a sense of pride in the heart of every Indian. This is a time of India's unity and strength to expose Pakistan's terrorist policies. The duo of Modi and Tharoor has shown that India will neither remain silent nor bow down. But will show the world the path of justice and truth.

In a powerful display of national sentiment, the Indian gem and jewellery industry has declared that all Turkish-style jewellery will now be rebranded as 'Sindoor Jewellery'—a symbolic tribute to Operation Sindoor, India’s successful anti-terror mission in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The move comes amid growing anti-Türkiye sentiment in India, particularly in Surat, a major diamond and jewellery hub. Türkiye’s recent pro-Pakistan stance during the 2025 India-Pakistan conflict has triggered widespread disapproval. In response, Surat’s leading jewellers, traders, and citizen groups are not only boycotting Turkish products but also pushing to erase cultural and commercial links with the country.

One notable initiative is the campaign to rename Turkeywaad, a historic locality in Surat named after Turkish traders who once lived there. Piyush Shah of Shri Jinajna Seva Trust, along with support from leaders like VHP’s Dinesh Navadiya, has urged the Surat Municipal Corporation to consider renaming the area to reflect Indian values and national pride.

The All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) has told manufacturers and retailers to stop using the term ‘Turkish jewellery’ in branding and marketing. Jewellery pieces formerly categorized as ‘Turkish’—noted for their ornate and oversized design—will now be identified as ‘Sindoor jewellery’, linking them symbolically to patriotism and military valor.

Meanwhile, the impact of the boycott is being felt beyond Surat. In Prayagraj and other trade hubs, vendors across sectors—from marble to dry fruits—have begun rejecting Turkish imports, affecting trade worth hundreds of crores.

Surat Mayor Dakshesh Mavani confirmed that the name change for Turkeywaad will be discussed in upcoming civic meetings.

As these symbolic yet impactful measures unfold, Surat’s diamond city is positioning itself as a torchbearer of cultural reclamation and national pride in a rapidly changing geopolitical landscape.

India’s successful retaliation against terrorism through Operation Sindoor—which avenged the Pahalgam attack and destroyed terrorist bases in Pakistan—sparked feelings of immense pride among citizens across the nation. The Indian Army’s bravery strengthened both national security and public morale. Yet, this proud moment also raises important questions about the role and approach of various political parties.

The ruling BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) celebrated the success of Operation Sindoor by organizing ‘Tiranga Yatras’ (tricolor rallies) across the country, aiming to amplify patriotism and pay tribute to the armed forces. Through these initiatives, the BJP attempted to foster unity and spread a message of national pride.

However, opposition parties, especially the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), did not organize any similar public events. This silence raises the question: Did they hold back from endorsing national pride publicly?

Possible Reasons for Opposition’s Silence:

1. Political Strategy:
Opposition parties may have chosen not to participate in such celebrations to prevent the ruling party from turning this national success into a political advantage. By staying away, they tried to avoid appearing as if they were endorsing BJP's narrative.

2. Avoiding Politicization:
Some parties possibly believed that military operations are national matters, not political ones. To them, celebrating military success through political events might risk reducing a national achievement to a partisan agenda.

3.Focus on Other Priorities:
It’s also possible that opposition parties were preoccupied with local issues or other political goals and therefore did not prioritize national-level celebrations.

The Bigger Question:Is it right to view national pride through a political lens?

The victory of the Indian armed forces belongs to every citizen, not to any single party. All political groups should have actively participated in celebrating such a unifying moment. Had opposition parties taken part, it would have further strengthened the message of unity and patriotism.

Even with ideological differences, displaying unity on issues of national security and pride is a hallmark of a healthy democracy. The public, too, should support leaders and parties that prioritize the nation’s interests over political gain.

Operation Sindoor is not just a military triumph—it symbolizes India's unity, resilience, and resolve. At such times, all political parties must come together to reinforce the spirit of nationalism, ensuring that the honor and pride of India always remain bright.

The recent announcement of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan has become a hot topic of intense discussion in political and military circles. Shashi Tharoor, a Senior Congress leader and a foreign policy expert who also worked as a junior foreign minister earlier, made a significant statement regarding the matter, clearly asserting that the ceasefire had nothing to do with U.S. President Donald Trump. Instead, it was the result of India’s military strength and the firm policies of the Modi government. Tharoor stated that the Pakistani Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) had requested peace from India, which led to the agreement.

Under “Operation Sindoor,” the Indian Army carried out precise and powerful attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan, forcing them to retreat. Launched on May 7 as a response to the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack, the operation successfully destroyed terror camps in major Pakistani cities and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). We used home grown drones and an advanced air defense system, showcasing our capabilities on a global stage.

The political will of the Modi government played a crucial role in this success. The government had made it clear that any act of terrorism would be treated as an act of war and would be met with a strong response. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, India responded not only militarily but also exerted diplomatic pressure on Pakistan. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri revealed that Pakistan’s DGMO reached out to his Indian counterpart on May 10 to initiate peace talks, which were accepted on India’s terms.

This event has showcased India's ‘zero tolerance’ policy towards terrorism to the world. Through valor and technological superiority, the Indian Army sent a clear message to its adversaries that India will no longer remain silent in the face of terrorism. The Modi government’s resolute policies and the Indian military’s efficiency have elevated the nation’s prestige, earning recognition and appreciation at the global level.

India is a nation where diversity and unity bloom hand in hand. Today, the country is showcasing an extraordinary sense of unity in its fight against terrorism. The bravery and success demonstrated by the Indian armed forces in countering terrorists from Pakistan evoke immense pride in every Indian's heart.

This success belongs not only to the armed forces or the government but is also a result of the opposition leaders' cooperation and spirit of national unity. Leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Asaduddin Owaisi, and Farooq Abdullah have set an exemplary standard of patriotism by extending their support to the government in the national interest.

Let us understand their statements:

Rahul Gandhi

"Today, the bravery and success shown by the Indian Army against Pakistani terrorists is a matter of pride for every Indian. As the opposition, we will extend full support to the efforts of our forces and government for the country's security. This is a time for unity, and we will always stand together in the nation's interest."

Owaisi

"This action by the Indian Army is a significant step in the fight against terrorism. I salute the courage of our soldiers. For national unity and security, we must all support the government and the military. This is not a time for politics—national interest is paramount."

Farooq Abdullah

"The skill and valor shown by our forces in combating terrorism is unprecedented. It is essential for the government and opposition to work together for national security. I praise the courage of our soldiers and call upon everyone to come together for the unity of the nation."

At a time when terrorism has become a major global challenge, India’s firm and decisive stance on the issue sends a powerful message to the world. This operation by the Indian Army is not just a response to terrorists—it is a symbol of the country's integrity and self-respect.

The unity demonstrated between the government and the opposition shows that when it comes to national interest, political differences take a backseat. By supporting the efforts of the government and the army, Rahul Gandhi has fulfilled his duty as a statesman. Owaisi and Farooq Abdullah, too, through their statements, have made efforts to strengthen national unity.

This incident proves that Indian politics—often known for division and controversy—can come together during times of national crisis. This unity is not limited to political leaders; it can be seen among the citizens of the country as well. Every Indian today feels proud of the bravery of our soldiers and is uniting in the nation's interest. This spirit of unity is a symbol of India’s strength, which helps establish us as a powerful nation on the global stage.

It is crucial that this spirit of unity and patriotism continues in the future as well. The fight against terrorism and for national security is a long-term effort, requiring the cooperation of the government, opposition, and citizens alike. Today is not only a day to celebrate our Army’s bravery, but also India’s unity and collective resolve. In this moment of pride, let us all pledge to work together for the nation’s welfare.

The Iran–Pakistan–India (IPI) gas pipeline, also known as the “Peace Pipeline,” is a project that symbolizes the potential for energy security and economic cooperation in South Asia. The idea for the pipeline first came in 1995, when Iran and Pakistan signed a primary agreement to transport gas from Iran’s South Pars gas field to Karachi in Pakistan.

Later, Iran proposed extending the pipeline to India, and in 1999, India gave in-principle approval to join the project. The aim was to harness Iran’s vast gas reserves to meet the growing energy needs of Pakistan and India, and thereby strengthen economic ties between the countries. But can the pipeline truly be a “pipeline of peace”? The answer depends on political, economic, and geopolitical factors.

Historical Purpose of the Pipeline

The pipeline was planned to run about 2,775 kilometers, starting from Iran’s South Pars gas field, passing through Balochistan and Sindh in Pakistan, and reaching India. The estimated cost of the project was around $7.5 billion. In 2004, a UNDP report titled Peace and Prosperity Gas Pipeline highlighted the potential benefits of the project, such as improved energy supply, economic growth, and regional stability. In 2007, India and Pakistan agreed to pay Iran $4.93 per unit of gas, though negotiations on pricing and security continued.

The Idea of a Peace Pipeline

The name “Peace Pipeline” was intended to show that the project was not merely about energy supply—it also sought to establish peace by fostering economic interdependence and cooperation between historically hostile neighbors, India and Pakistan. Through this pipeline, Iran could expand its gas exports, Pakistan could address its energy crisis, and India could diversify its energy sources to support its rapidly growing economy. In this way, the project held the potential to become a symbol of regional stability and prosperity.

Obstacles and Controversies

However, the path of the pipeline has been far from smooth. In 2009, India decided to withdraw from the project, citing concerns over costs and security. The decision was also influenced by the 2008 Indo-U.S. Civil Nuclear Agreement and international pressure over sanctions on Iran. After India’s exit, Pakistan and Iran decided to continue work on a bilateral Iran–Pakistan (IP) pipeline in 2010. Iran completed its 1,100-kilometer segment, but Pakistan delayed construction of its 780-kilometer section due to financial difficulties and fear of U.S. sanctions. In 2024, Pakistan permitted the construction of an initial 80-kilometer segment, but the project remains stalled.

Geopolitical Challenges

The biggest challenge to the pipeline’s success is geopolitical instability. U.S. sanctions on Iran and strained India–Pakistan relations are major barriers to implementation. Additionally, security concerns and the threat of terrorism in Balochistan pose serious risks to the pipeline's construction. The U.S. has openly opposed the project and warned Pakistan about the risk of sanctions for trading with Iran. Moreover, Pakistan’s fragile economy and dependence on international financial institutions further complicate the pipeline’s future.

Current Status

As of early 2025, the Iran–Pakistan pipeline remains stalled, and there is little likelihood of India rejoining the project. Iran has threatened to fine Pakistan $18 billion if it fails to complete its share. In response, Pakistan is considering building a small 80-kilometer section to avoid the penalty, but remains hesitant due to U.S. pressure. Meanwhile, India has shifted its focus to the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) pipeline, which enjoys U.S. support. The TAPI pipeline is seen as a safer and more politically acceptable option to meet India’s energy needs.

In this context, the idea of a "Peace Pipeline" has so far remained purely theoretical. The deep mistrust between India and Pakistan, sanctions on Iran, and regional instability prevent this project from becoming a true symbol of peace. However, if the geopolitical landscape changes in the future and a climate of trust emerges among the three nations, this pipeline could become a powerful means of regional cooperation and economic development.

India — a country globally recognized for its rich culture, diversity, and innovation — is now carving out a distinct identity in the defense sector also. The SkyStriker drone, a loitering munition (also known as a kamikaze drone), manufactured in Bengaluru by Adani Defence and Aerospace, is a shining example of the Make in India initiative. The drone was used in ‘Operation Sindoor’ to carry out precise surgical strikes on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan. It showcased India’s growing military self-dependence and technological advancement.

Make in India is not just a slogan but a powerful strategy focussed at achieving India’s economic and security goals. In collaboration with Israel’s Elbit Systems, Adani Defence and Aerospace is making the SkyStriker drone at its Bengaluru unit. With a range of 100 kilometers and a 5–10 kg warhead, this drone meets the needs of modern warfare. During Operation Sindoor, targeted strikes were carried out on terrorist camps belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, showing the drone’s precision and India’s military capabilities.

Firms like Adani Defence are providing a platform for the country’s young engineers, scientists, and technicians to develop globally competitive tech. These efforts are also generating employment opportunities in the manufacturing sector and reducing India’s dependence on foreign tech. After the Balakot airstrike in 2019, the Indian Army placed an order for 120 SkyStriker drones in 2021, marking a significant step in promoting indigenous product under Make in India.

The great success of the SkyStriker drone shows India’s emergence as a global leader in the manufacturing of military equipment. With its lightweight design, precision targeting, and high efficiency at a very low cost, the drone is an ideal tool for modern warfare. Such innovations are strengthening India’s defense strategy and establishing Indian companies in global markets.

To recognize the achievements of indian companies like Adani Defence is to salute the talent, innovation, and patriotism of India’s youth. These companies are not only enhancing national security but also contributing to economic growth. To advance the spirit of Make in India, we must all support such companies so that India can become truly self-reliant and strengthen its position on the global stage.

India’s relations with Pakistan constantly swings between compassion, war, and strategic maneuvering. The history of Pakistan is full of betrayal, terrorism, and mistrust. Pakistan's existence is rooted in the wounds of India’s partition. The country has consistently adopted an anti-India ideology. Today, when Pakistan is economically weak, politically unstable, and socially fragmented, a crucial question stands before India: Should we show compassion, choose the path of war, or resolve this issue permanently through strategic means?

The terrorism that Pakistan has unleashed on Indians cannot be forgotten. From the 26/11 Mumbai attacks to Pulwama, Pakistan has cultured its policies with the blood of innocent Indians. Showing compassion to such a country may seem morally right but is strategically flawed. Buddha’s message of peace teaches us compassion, but when the opposing country repeatedly betrays trust, the path of peace can be seen as weakness.

War is emotionally appealing but comes at a heavy cost. It affects not just the military and economy, but also deeply scars the social psyche. India defeated Pakistan in 1971, yet the terrorist mindset of Pakistan did not end. Today, Pakistan’s economic weakness and internal instability can bring it to its knees even without war. In such a scenario, India can opt for the path of strategic pressure rather than full-blown conflict.

Operations like Sindoor have shown that India has the full capacity to reply to terroism. But such operations only treat the traits, not the root cause. The idea of reclaiming Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is emotionally satisfying, but it requires international support, economic preparedness, and military strategy. The delay in acting on PoK is not India’s weakness, but strategic patience. Isolating Pak on the global stage, leveraging its economic vulnerabilities, and targeting the roots of terrorism is an effective approach.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies have strengthened India’s global standing. His foreign policy has significantly isolated Pakistan. The Operations like the surgical strikes have demonstrated India’s decisiveness. But is that enough? India now needs to move beyond reactive policies and actively dismantle Pakistan’s terror machinery. This requires a combination of economic pressure, intelligence use, and international coordination.

One opinion suggests that India should neither drown in compassion nor get carried away by the frenzy of war. A blend of Buddha’s peace and Chanakya’s strategy is what can offer India a lasting solution. By tactically capitalizing on Pakistan’s weaknesses, India can move forward in a way that neither revives terrorism nor spills innocent blood. The coming time will test Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and India’s strategic vision, and we hope that India will face this challenge with wisdom and strength.
